Bio

Scott Brown is a 1991 graduate of Booneville High School in which he was a member of the 1990 State Championship football team. Afterwards he played football at Northeast Mississippi Community College. Scott then graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in education from Mississippi State University. 

Scott began his coaching career in Florence, AL where he was an assistant at Wilson High School, Colbert County High School, Florence High School, and Brooks High School. He served many roles at these schools including offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, quarterback coach, and secondary. He has been fortunate to play and coach for numerous Hall of Fame coaches. In 2012, Scott accepted his first head coaching position at Wilson High School. During his six-year tenure there, he complied a 51-20 record with five playoff appearances. Scott's goal was and always will be to focus on teaching young men as much about life as he does about football.

Scott's wife Mawonia, also graduated from Booneville High School and is a nurse in Alabama. His oldest child, Tucker Brown, played football at the University of the Cumberlands in KY. His daughter, Taylor Brown, is playing softball for the University of North Alabama. 

Scott is extremely grateful to be the Head Football Coach in his hometown and wants to give back to the community that gave so much to him.
