Bio
Coach Michael Smith has been a cornerstone of Booneville High School since 2001, serving not only as the head basketball coach but also as our esteemed athletic director. Under his leadership, the basketball program has achieved remarkable success, with countless state championships earned by both the boys' and girls' teams.
Coach Smith is married to Shawna Smith, and together they have seven children: Ava Kate, Rhett, Clarke, Greir, Bauer, Audra Rose, and Abbott. He is deeply committed to his family and values the special community at Booneville.
Believing that Booneville is a unique and exceptional place, Coach Smith looks forward each day to working with the best student-athletes in the area. His dedication and passion for coaching continue to inspire and drive the success of our athletic programs.
