East Union got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ethan Lamontagne tripled to left field, and Hunter Huffstatler singled to right field, each scoring one run.
The Urchins scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fourth inning. Brady Hood grounded out, scoring one run, Daniel Whitfield doubled, scoring two runs, and Landon Harmon tripled, scoring two runs.
Cade Lott stepped on the hill first for Booneville. The starter surrendered eight hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out four and walking two. Harmon stepped on the hill first for East Union. The hurler surrendered one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking one.
Kylin Leslie led the Blue Devils with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position. Easton Field and Jacob Matthews each drove in one run for Booneville.
The Urchins amassed 11 hits in the game. Kade Treadaway went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead East Union in hits. Conner Yarbrough and Harmon each drove in three runs for East Union.
